Our October Y6 residential trip to Hollowford Centre in Castleton was a huge success. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had plenty of Autumnal sunshine. This, along with lots of happy, enthusiastic and courageous children, meant we had a fantastic few days.
The pupils took part in a range of different outdoor activities across the three days including: orienteering and problem solving, zip wire, raft building, high ropes, bush craft, climbing and abseiling, scrambling and weaselling.
Group leaders and Hollowford staff were extremely impressed with the enthusiasm of the pupils and how they worked together as teams, supporting and encouraging each other along the way.
Y6 should be very proud of all their achievements from this trip. They developed lots of different skills and made many happy memories.
