Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon at the premiere of their very own movie which they made just before the Christmas holidays. Year 6 had a whole day with Mr Pepper, a previous teacher and film maker, learning about The Battle of Britain. In the morning, they became historians using different sources to research the chronology and turning points of The Battle of Britain and then in the afternoon they acted out different parts of the movie in front of the green screen. Yesterday, they watched it all put together for the first time. They dressed up in their best clothes and walked down the red carpet. They munched on popcorn and giggled as they appeared on the big screen. Parents and Year 5 really enjoyed watching it. It was a fantastic experience and one everyone enjoyed.
