Online Safety Workshop for Parents

Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to warmly invite you to our Online Safety Meeting for Parents, taking place on Tuesday 5th May at 6:00pm as a virtual meeting (link to be provided soon).
The online world our children are growing up in is changing at a pace that is difficult to keep up with. New apps, games, platforms and online risks are emerging all the time and what was relevant even a year ago may already be out of date. This session is designed to help you stay informed, confident and better equipped to support your child online.
A member of the i‑Vengers team, specialists in digital intelligence and online safety, will lead the session. They will bring parents up to date with the very latest developments in the online world and offer practical, realistic advice on how to help keep children safe online at home.
On the same day:
- Children will take part in an age‑appropriate online safety session during the school day
- Staff will receive training during the CPD meeting
This ensures a joined‑up approach between children, school staff, and families—because online safety works best when we are all working together.
If there is one meeting you make time for this year, we strongly urge that this is the one. Online safety is not about fear—it is about knowledge, awareness and empowering our children to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. Your attendance really does make a difference.
We hope as many of you as possible will join us for this important session.
Date: Tuesday 5th May
Time: 6:00pm
Format: Virtual meeting
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep all our children safe in this ever‑changing digital world.
Kind regards,
Johnathon Walmsley & Vicki Jones
