Personal Social Citizenship and Health Education

Personal, Social, Citizenship and Health education is a planned, developmental programme of learning designed to help learners develop the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives, now and in the future. PSCHE education deals with real life issues which affect children, their families and their communities. It engages with the social and economic realities of their lives, their experiences, and attitudes. The benefits of PSCHE education are universal, supporting all children to achieve their fullest potential.

We also develop citizenship and enterprise through our School Council, enterprise projects and enterprise fair. In addition, we focus on mental well- being through mindfulness techniques and the introduction of Wellbeing Wednesday.

We are also an International School and encourage our children to make friends across the globe. We currently have strong links with schools in Bangladesh, Canada, Brazil, America and Kenya! We believe it is important for our children to understand different cultures across the world and be global citizens of the future. 

We also use Philosophy for Children to encourage the children to debate important global issues. Our children are independent thinkers who inspire others to make the world a better place.
