At Northfield we aim to encourage pupils to see art as a means of self expression and to develop an awareness of the world around them. Our pupils experience different mediums and techniques used by a wide variety of artists, designers, craft makers and sculptors from across the globe and throughout history. We use sketch books to collect and develop ideas and encourage pupils to reflect upon and evaluate their own and others' work.
We are an Artsmark Gold School and we are constantly working towards reviewing and revising our curriculum to fully meet the needs of our pupils.
