On the 12th-13th December 2018 Northfield Junior School performed a Christmas concert to all their friends and family members. It included an arrangement of songs taught by Mrs. Timperley. Each class got their own Christmas scene, highlighting all the elements of Christmas for example; Santa’s Sketch, the Nativity, the 12 days of Christmas mashup and much more…
We had lots of fun rehearsing and learning all the songs for it. We would like to thank all the teachers for giving us the opportunity, allowing us an amazing Christmas Concert!
On the 20th December 2018 all the Y6s, went to St Johns Church to sing carols .We sang a range of songs from Silent night to O little Town of Bethlehem. Those who wanted to, sang solos or in small groups. Carol after carol, we got a huge round of applause and every face had a beaming smile. We were so proud of ourselves as we sung our hearts out.
We would like to say a massive well done to all the Y6s for not being shy and singing amazingly well. Everyone showed the audience how well we can sing as well as making the school proud.
On the 21st December 2018, we had a Christmas jumper day and party. We all came into school with fabulous Christmas jumpers and were handing out the last of our Christmas cards. We played fun board games all morning, then had a delicious Christmas dinner. We then changed into our party clothes and got ready for an awesome Christmas party! We went into the hall, full with music and Christmas lights and had a good old dance! Then we did pass the parcel in our house teams. Each person who won got a great prize. We then did some party games to finish the afternoon off!
