Christmas round up

Christmas is always a busy and fun filled time here at Northfield and this year was no different! Here is a quick round up of just some of our Christmas events.

We started the festivities off with a Christmas art day. Everyone made cards, calendars, decorations and some class even managed some paper chains to decorate the classrooms. All of the activities were cross curricular and Miss Travis' class didn't even realise the amount of Maths they did during the day!

Later in the term we had a visit from a travelling Pantomime and really enjoyed our afternoon watching Aladdin. It was a great opportunity to see some professionals perform and join in with the boos and hisses.

Y6 also visited The Forge and Sainsburys to sing Christmas carols to raise some money and some Christmas spirit. Many people stopped to listen to the children sing and complimented them on their lovely singing voices.

To end the term we all had fun celebrating Christmas with our end of term party. We played party games in our house teams and enjoyed some dancing to some super cool tunes.
