Harvest 2023

We had a fantastic time celebrating Harvest on the last day of term. Luckily the weather held out for us and we had a productive and fun-filled morning.

As usual, we started our morning off with a cooked breakfast of sausage and bacon cobs. Thank you to Moss Valley Fine Meats for cooking for us once again! We were really pleased that so many families wanted to join us this year, including lots of grandparents and some former pupils too!

After breakfast we headed outside to take part in some super outdoor activities and parents helped to prepare the grounds for winter. Miss Jones was amazed at how much was done in just an hour, and every had a great time, with lots of planting, pruning and weeding happening.

To round the morning off, we held a celebration assembly and shared what we had learnt about Harvest. There was some excellent singing of different autumn songs and some very informative information about harvests around the world. We also announced the winners of the fruity animal competition- there were so many creative entries we really struggled to choose the winners.

It was a lovely end to the term and so wonderful to see the whole school community getting involved.
