We had a fabulous time celebrating Harvest on Tuesday 15th October and Mr Walmsley was really excited to see so many of our school community taking part.
We started the day off with our famous hot breakfast of sausage and bacon sandwiches, cooked for us by Stephen and the team at Moss Valley Fine Meats. It was lovely to see so many families, including some older siblings who have now left us, enjoying their breakfast and socialising as a school community.
After breakfast everyone took to the grounds to take part in outdoor activities and celebrate Autumn. Miss Jones would like to say a huge thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and other family members who came along to help us. We spent time preparing the allotment for winter and tidying the school grounds. Other outdoor activities included orienteering, making well-dressing tiles and creating artwork with natural materials. Even the drizzle didn't spoil our fun!
We ended our celebrations with an assembly in which all classes shared something about Harvest.
Once again, this was a fantastic community event and we are so grateful to everyone who came to support the children and our school.
