White Hall 2024
On Monday 23rd September, our Y5 children visited White Hall for their outdoor and adventurous residential. They spent three days participating in activities like indoor rock climbing, zip lining, and rock and stream scrambling. In the evenings, we played outdoor games like secret agents where the teachers hid and the children had to find them. It was a fantastic few days of fun!
Here’s what the children had to say:
“It was good fun, especially the leap of faith where we were like flying animals.” Betsy
“My favourite bit was the rock scrambling and getting to see views that were higher than expected and you could see for miles.” Oliver
“I enjoyed everything but my favourite was secret agents and zip lining” Blake
“I liked the rock scrambling because it was an adventure and the view was really pretty.” Gracie
“I liked the rock scrambling because of the amazing view and it was really high.” Issy
Quote of the trip: “This (rock scrambling) is better than going on my PlayStation.” Henry
Words we think describe our trip: spectacular, amazing, fun, incredible, exciting, challenging and extraordinary.
